  • Bred by Jack E. Christensen in the USA before 1988; introduced in 1990

  • Appearance & Fragrance

  • Color: Buds open deep crimson/magenta, evolving into lavender–mauve blooms with smoky plum-purple edges

  • Form: Classic Grandiflora—large, high-centered, double blooms (about 4–5 in / 10–13 cm) with 20–25 velvety petals

  • Fragrance: Notably strong and fruity, filling the air with a rich aroma .

    Growth Habit & Performance

  • Grows into a tall, upright bush approximately 4–7 ft (1.2–2.1 m) tall with a 3–4 ft (0.9–1.2 m) spread

  • Blooms continuously in flushes from late spring through fall, producing long-stemmed flowers ideal for cutting
